(ATLANTA, GA) Georgia Log Cabin Republicans announced today their endorsement of Mike Kenn, candidate for Fulton County Commission Chairman.

Michael Brown, president of Georgia Log Cabin Republicans, stated, "Mike Kenn will be the Chairman for all citizens of Fulton County. He supports equal rights for everyone in Fulton County, including lesbians, gays, bisexuals and the transgendered."

Brown continued, "Of tremendous importance to everyone who is HIV-positive or loves someone who is, the chairman controls $12 million in Ryan White AIDS funding. Mike Kenn is committed to taking direction from the community on staffing and allocation of these funds."

Brown also said, "Mike has put his support for our community in writing -- not just empty words that he can deny or change later like other turncoat politicians. Mike Kenn is the genuine article -- a mainstream Republican who believes that the government has no role in the personal lives of its citizens. Mike is a Republican who believes in limited government, personal freedom and personal responsibility."

Mike Kenn is a successful businessman who enjoyed a rewarding 17-year career with the Atlanta Falcons. He is the owner of Rafter's Neighborhood Bar and Grill in Alpharetta and several other businesses. He and Joanie, his wife of 19-years, have two daughters, Lisa and Kristy. Mike's vision as chairman includes improving quality of life issues, reducing the highest property tax rate in Georgia, and improving the county's infrastructure and Land Use Plan.
