(Washington, DC) - Log Cabin Republicans are proud of all of our members who run for public office, and commend three of our members who appeared on the ballot Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Dan Clifford was victorious in his primary race for County Judge in Montgomery Pennsylvania, while Redondo Beach mayor Mike Gin placed a respectable fourth in a crowded field for California's 36th congressional district and Malcolm Lazin laid a strong foundation for the Philadelphia City Council at-large elections this November.

"By running for and winning public office, Log Cabin Republicans are taking a more active role in the conservative movement," said R. Clarke Cooper, Log Cabin Republicans Executive Director. "Each of these candidates brought unique and valuable contributions to their respective races. Congratulations to Dan Clifford on his victory, and we hope to see Mike and Malcolm continue to step up as leaders in their communities and the Republican Party."
