Log Cabin Republicans Call for Congress to Listen to Americans' Budget Concerns

(Washington, DC)  – As Congress spends the week at home working in their districts, Log Cabin Republicans encourage our members to speak up in favor of serious budget cuts and reduced government spending.

"Republicans in the House of Representatives, under Speaker Boehner's leadership, have stepped up and taken a first step toward reducing the federal deficit. It is now time for the Senate and the President to step up to the plate and pass these spending cuts," said R. Clarke Cooper, Log Cabin Republicans Executive Director.
